Job Summary:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing (HoM), the Marketing & Public Relations (PR) specialist is responsible for communicating key messages and promoting a positive image of the company.
Day-to-day duties may include writing press releases, liaising with local, national, regional and global press, and coordinating messaging going out on Amsa Hospitality's Website, social media, and in print. 
They commonly work with a team of marketers, PR professionals, designers, etc., to develop strategies to help their company grow and succeed.
The Marketing & PR specialist duties includes (non-exhaustive list):



  • Planning and carrying out PR campaigns and strategies

  • Monitoring the public and media's opinions of the company

  • In coordination with Amsa Hospitality' Content Writer, writing and editing press releases, leaflets, brochures, speeches, newsletters, Websites, and social media content

  • Utilizing all forms of media, including national, regional, global and trade press, to build, maintain and manage the portrayal of a business

  • Representing Amsa Hospitality at events when required

  • Acting as a spokesperson for the company

  • Training employees on how to handle media inquiries and press interviews

  • Developing good working relationships with the media and liaising with the press on potential news stories

  • In partnership with Amsa Hospitality's Content Writer, writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, and annual reports

  • With the company's Content Writer, managing and updating Amsa Hospitality’s social media posts

  • Devising and coordinating photo opportunities

  • Managing, arranging, and overseeing events

  • Monitoring publicity and press coverage

  • Coordinating paid and unpaid advertising

  • Under the direction of the Head of Marketing. developing marketing plans that incorporate traditional and online marketing techniques to reach target audiences

  • Assisting the Head of Marketing maintaining a positive and fruitful presence of Amsa Hospitality at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) and any other key local, regional, and global industry conferences and expos



To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent professional certificates is a plus

  • Work experience should be of 4 years or more; hospitality experience is a plus

  • Fluent in Arabic / English is mandatory, other languages would be an extra positive

  • Enjoys working in a multicultural environment is a must

  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure as a dedicated teammate is a must

  • Ability to work remotely

  • Ability to regularly travel (domestic and international)

  • Good humored is a necessary plus
