Saudi Arabia leads MENA CSR: Amsa Hospitality in the race!

Like Saudi Arabia, Amsa Hospitality adopts Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rules and practices

I was reading the other day a news article mentioning that Saudi Arabia and the UAE are the two regional leaders in the awareness and adoption of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region. Even better - this is the second year in the row!

Fully in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, more and more Saudi companies are adopting Corporate Social Responsibilities practices. If you are not familiar with what CSR is about, here is a quick definition from Investopedia: "Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a self-regulating business model that helps a company be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders, and the public. By practicing corporate social responsibility, also called corporate citizenship, companies can be conscious of the kind of impact they are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental.

To engage in CSR means that [...] a company is operating in ways that enhance society and the environment instead of contributing negatively to them."

According to Arab News, CSR invested companies sectors include government, aviation, automotive, banking & finance, construction & real estate, healthcare, and transport. No one from the hospitality industry.

This is where Amsa Hospitality, once more, differentiates itself from its competitors. As Denis Sorin, President of Hospitality, explained some times ago in a blog post, Amsa Hospitality was designed with strong CSR commitments deeply imprinted in its DNA! All our policies, decision making processes, work organization and more are led by our pledge to CSR rules and practices.

Once more, Amsa Hospitality demonstrates that we are a true and proud Arabian company!
