Amsa Hospitality: Is (EV) the solution?

Amsa Hospitality supports electric vehicle

I am sure that most have already read that electric vehicles (EVs) are better for the climate than gas-powered cars, but many people are still reluctant to buy them.

One reason: The larger upfront cost.

New data published shows that despite the higher sticker price, electric cars may actually save drivers money in the long run.

To reach this conclusion, a team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology calculated both the carbon dioxide emissions and full lifetime cost — including purchase price, maintenance, and fuel — for nearly every new car model on the market.

They found electric cars were easily more climate-friendly than gas-burning ones. Over a lifetime, they were often cheaper, too.

Are electric vehicles the answer to reducing road transport emissions?

The answer, of course, is not straightforward.

What is clear is that urgent action is needed in a sector that has seen an increase in emissions since 1990 in the UK - with a similar pattern in many other countries – setting it ignominiously apart from nearly all other sectors.

Amsa Hospitality takes it very seriously as it counts the carbon emissions of our employees every day to make sure that we really contribute to a better environment and we encourage all companies to do so. Thanks to our innovative work method, we are contributing to reduce Team Amsa members carbon footprint to a minimum.
